The Davies family had converted their loft into bedrooms several years ago but found that the space was hard to keep warm in winter and unbearably hot in summer.
Energy Challenge carried out a no-obligation survey and identified that their Room in Roof lacked sufficient insulation, leading to major energy loss.

Through the ECO4 scheme, we installed high-spec rigid insulation boards between the sloping rafters and added a thermal lining to the walls and dormer windows.
The entire project was completed within three days, transforming the upstairs space into a much more comfortable living area year-round.

The Davies family noticed the difference almost immediately, with their energy usage dropping and the loft bedrooms becoming much more enjoyable spaces to use.
