Reducing the Climate Change Levy
Climate Change Advantage is a powerful web-based tool allowing you to address your carbon emissions and maximise your position within the Climate Change Levy framework.
The system allows complex and often diverse energy consumption data to be compiled, analysed and reported using a wide range of functions. The system is aimed at a variety of users, both commercial and industrial, ranging from single sites to large multi-national corporations.
Climate Change Advantage™ allows energy use to be monitored and compared to baseline and target figures. The system carries out all conversions required for you to assess the advantages of trading carbon.
Climate Change Advantage™ is based on custom built SQL server technology, developed over a number of years by Pro Enviro to meet the needs of a broad range of clients and interested parties.
The main features of the product are:
- Generation of Climate Change Levy Agreement (CCLA) reports in your chosen format
- Import of data from existing systems into Climate Change Advantage™
- Export of data into the report format adopted by your trade association (for those holding a valid CCLA)
- Monitoring and reporting of energy and carbon under IPPC (Integrated Pollution Prevention & Control) regimes
- Reporting and analysis by CCLA number, installation site, corporation or any combination required
- Report generation for corporate environmental statements and reports to stakeholders using a web based system
- Reporting in a format to allow access to tax incentives such as the ECA (Enhanced Capital Allowance) scheme
- Reporting of either absolute (total energy used or carbon produced) or relative (energy or carbon per specified production or throughput unit) is standard in the system
- Collecting, analysing and reporting data to assist in the assessment of CDM (Clean Development Mechanism) project feasibility worldwide
